Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad
has claimed that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shahbaz Sharif
orchestrated massive poll rigging in the NA 55 by-elections. Sheikh Rashid
Ahmad added that he has withdrawn his candidates from the NA 123 and PP 82
by-polls in protest against the rigging by the Sharif brothers. Sheikh
Rashid Ahmad alleged that the rigging took place with the collusion of the
provincial government. more

League was formed in June 2008. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed served as the Federal
Minister for Railways in Pakistan from 2006 to 2008. His previous portfolio
have included appointments as Federal Minister for Labor and Manpower,
Information and Broadcasting, Industries, Sports, Culture, Tourism and
